What’s Improved in V2

Improved Victron communications refine the handling of high-voltage alarms to support more accurate behavior during charging and operation. This helps monitoring and control stay consistent, especially in systems where precise voltage management matters.

Scalability is significantly expanded with support for up to 16 batteries in parallel, enabling much larger energy storage banks than earlier limitations. This makes it easier to grow capacity without reworking the entire design.

Internal upgrades focus on safety and quality. The internal fuse is UL60691 certified, and the battery cells meet multiple recognized standards, including UL1642, UL1973, U9540A, IEC 62619:2017, and RoHS. The battery is also in the process of receiving a UL Listing for additional confirmation of safety compliance.

Bluetooth monitoring is improved with an all-battery dashboard designed to monitor multiple batteries from a single screen—up to 16 units in one system. The BMS can also receive over-the-air firmware updates through the app, helping keep the system current with enhancements over time. A redesigned battery gauge provides more detailed information, including State of Charge (SOC), voltage, current flow, and alarm alerts for clearer system awareness.

Built for Victron Integration

It provides 230A continuous charge and discharge capability with strong peak output (500A for 30 seconds and 1300A for 1 second). The IP67-rated enclosure is dustproof and waterproof, and internal heating supports charging below 0°C with charging capability down to -20°C (-4°F). Bluetooth monitoring works with iOS and Android apps, while CANbus communication enables the BMS to communicate directly with Victron OS.
